Strictly Kosher Style: Recipes Spiced with Jewish Humor is a series of absurdist recipes that address the kosher laws through Jewish humor. Honoring the longstanding Jewish comedic tradition which takes its own dietary laws as a point of departure, I sought to investigate, appreciate, and make light of, the physical and mental boundaries between kosher and its other, the treyf.

Strictly Kosher Style was conceived as both a recipe book and an installation for the exhibition Distinguishing / Distinguished Jewish, curated by Louis Kaplan, at the Starr Gallery in Newton, MA.
